On Saturday 12/02/2011, at Karrinyup Shopping Centre in Western Australia, the Variety Club Youth Choir organized a FLASH MOB where they all were incognito in the Food Hall, and started standing up in groups singing "We are Australians"
The purpose was to raise money for the QLD floods. Each time it is clicked on, money is raised thru Google ads, SO PLEASE WATCH!!!!!! It is a beaut way of supporting those poor Aussies over on the other side of our country or the world....
you can't help but be so proud of our youth...
they are adorable...
well done guys...
Be proud...
http://www.youtube.com/storytellermediaHave a listen. Karrinyup is a coastal suburb in Perth
Thanks for listening and supporting theQLD Flood Victims...
Hugs

What a beautiful song (I just had to look up the lyrics). The young singers are great! Thank you, Dawn, for pointing us to this video. I hope lots of money is raised. I have posted a link in a couple of places, and listened to it a couple of times already.
(We in Canada, had a group in Welland, Ontario (not far from where I grew up), doing the Hallelujah Chorus just before Christmas - that was wonderful, too)
All the best,

Ooh Dawn.. I just watched the choir with tears running down my face. How good are they?? Brilliant!! My daughter is once again cut off from floods in North Queensland. She lives in Tully which copped the Cyclone Yassi and hasn't seemed to stop raining since. But we are so lucky to live in this wonderful country.
Hugs Gloria
