I have been sniffing and sniffing this last two days...
Tissues are my best friend atm...
I think I have a sinus infection come to think of it
the headache in the front of my head this last week
is the give away sign for me to have a sinus infection.
The one thing I don't mind about being not well is I sit and sew or stitch
Rest by sitting in my chair sewing away... best remedy
plus some good TV to watch... Downton Abbey season 2 for me.
Sew is what I have done...
Before I left for my weekend in Tassie
I made myself a promise or a resolution,
that I would finish whatever it was we taught or learnt
while I was away as soon as I came home.
I kept my word to myself...
I didn't want another lot of UFO'S
esp like this first mini quilt.
I started this Marg Low Hexi quilt two years ago so finished this first.
It only needed binding though..LOL
Then I made Vicki's new pattern minus the stitchery.
I made it in reds as it can go on my red quilt wall above my computer.
Don't you just love the octagonal shape ?
Then I practiced some 'Quilt as you go' which
Joy taught us while we were there...
I made a mini quilt to show off my skills .
I still have a couple more to show you
but they can wait till tomorrow.
I am off to watch some TV and sniff some more with my
trusty tissue box not far behind me.
Happy Stitching
Hugs Dawn x x

You poor girl Dawn. I don't know what feels worse the headache or the running sniffy nose. I hope you feel better soon. Love all your stitching in those gorgeous fabrics.
I have been working on my Tassie projects too Dawn. Tissue box is close at hand, and I am making headway - just finished Jo's project, now back to yours.
Hoping you are getting the upper hand with your cold/sinus.
Hugs,xx
For a sicky you've done a heck of a lot Dawn. Keep tucked up and get well soon xx
Feel better soon Dawn, though your productivity while sick is amazing! Tracee xx

Take care sweet friend and you have done lots of sewing...love them all :) Hugs Vicki x
I hope you feel better! Man I miss my Fluffy chair (a chair we bought when we first got married and only got rid of it about a year ago) when I am sick! That thing was so oversized and I loved to hunker down on it with stitching, crocheting, or a good book! ESPECIALLY when I was sick!!
They are all beautiful!! Feel better soon!
Hope you get better soon. Sinus infections are awful..
You have been busy sewing and all projects look great.
Lovely projects, Dawn. Thanks for sharing.
HOpe you are feeling much improved today - it's so tough to be sniffeling when we'd rather be stitching!
Hope you're feeling better soon! Lovely to see some finishes.
Hugs
Jo

Hi Dawn,
Tracee from Quilt Kitty Loves Life sent me over after letting me know about your free patterns. I would love to download the Easter Treat Bag and Merry Delights patterns but keep getting an error message when I try. Is there a trick to this? Please help as they look so gorgeous!
Thanks,
Tracy
Getting all those projects done would make me feel a little better. Get well soon.
Surely hope you are feeling much better soon. What you are working on is gorgeous.
Olá, seus trabalhos são maravilhosos!
Te desejo sucesso
