Sorry I have not posted for a little while. I have been soo busy, with babies and sorting out a spot for me to relax in and catching up on WIP's, plus a new computer to work out how to use doesn't help. I have finished my '365 day challenge' that Leanne put out and just have to get it quilted(I will show a pic later). I have sent off my goodies for the swaps I had joined -
a Prim swap to Linda in W.A and the Bag swap to Donna in Qld and I received a lovely wall hanging from Monica for the Prim Swap, an angel with flower and bee, Thanks Monica, I have put it up above my computer for now till I find the right spot.
The sorting out I have been doing is in our bedroom, I was given a Horn sewing cabinet to house my sewing machine in and had to make room, as well as an old chair which was my mum's. I have loved this chair and wanted to have a quiet place to read, rest and sew - away from the busyness of life in the family's room. I recovered the chair in some brocade fabric that I had stashed away and so with two pieces of furniture to fit in a corner I needed to be serious in sorting out my fabrics, bric a brac and stuff......... I found a heap of christmas fabrics and old wooly jumpers, old wooden pegs and even an outfit I started to make for my son ( size 0 and he's now a 22yo - I don't think it will fit him...lol) It was so good to have a clean out and now I feel a little more focused - I can have a place to relax and also know what to go on with....................Now that I am sorted out I will be holding ...........don't hold your breathe.............A GIVEAWAY - it will be a surprise package of........fabrics, buttons, bric a brac, and a gift from me......
