I have been so inspired by some of the gorgeous
'Baseco Mahal Kita' Tote bags appearing on blogs.
that I decided to make myself one for personal use,
in French General - 'Rouenerries' fabric with some redish handles.
I am pleased with how its turned out. I used a pink color for my stitchery
and chose the pinkish fabrics from the range.
Maybe I'll make another in a blue fabric...LOL...

Hi Dawn, just read about this bag and the "cause" over on Khris' blog. I just purchased a pattern and am really looking forward to making this. I really like the style, and I love the fabrics you've chosen for yours! Good luck reaching that 1000 mark; I'm going to blog about this so hopefully someone will see it on my blog!

Great bag and I love the range of fabric you used
I think your bag is just right in the colors you picked. Don't change anything about it! Another in blue would be totally wonderful, also! -- BTW, I know Australia is ahead (or is it behind?) the US in time, but are you guys also ahead on the calendar? The post I just read says it is March 27. You must be jet-propelled through life!! LOL!
Oh Wow Dawn, your tote looks absolutely divine in the Rounneries!!! Can't wait to make mine!!!
Hugs! Vikki xoxoxoxo
Thanks for such a prompt email delivery of my lovely bag pattern. Beautifully written I just can't wait to get sewing on it. I hope to encourage others in my patchwork group to pop over to your blog and help your fundraising efforts. We all love a new bag now and again. Dianne
